Week 2!

After an exciting/relaxing weekend (depending on who you ask) we are glad to be back at Pino Verde.  On Friday we had a half day at school so we all enjoyed a trip to Termales: natural hot springs in a gorgeous setting. We also celebrated Ryan's birthday with cake and singing.

Today we took a quick field trip in the middle of the school day to Trapiche to see how sugar cane gets processed. After touring the factory, we visited the school and students for whom we brought the colored pencils.

We also have some new authors for our blog--several of our students will be sharing their thoughts and pictures.
