Today was our first day of school and we had a great time! We had an
early start (7:30) but we began our day by inaugurating the newest wing to the
school. During morning classes we were surprised by a "carnival" with
clowns (one on stilts!), a strolling minstrel, and many other colorful
characters. The snack during morning break was delicious!
After the morning excitement it was back
to clases before lunch (which many students assured Mr. Albright was much
better than at Deal). We also had cake to celebrate the 19th anniversary of the
school.
Students enjoyed the open air classrooms
and the breathtaking grounds at school.
We look forward to our field trip tomorrow to La Hacienda del Paraíso
where the novel Maria originated.
